Satoshi Kako was a beloved and prolific author-illustrator of children’s books until his death in 2018. After a delightfully fun sports day, the dragonfly children are all heading home, when suddenly they are attacked by a horrible bat! It might seem that these tiny dragonflies have no chance, but by combining their wits and their strengths – just as they did at sports day – it turns out they can be quite powerful after all. A thought-provoking allegory accompanied by beautifully hued illustrations.
