Japan’s fairytales are filled with mysteries: for example, why had the turtle that took Urashima Taro down to the Dragon Palace at the bottom of the ocean, been on that fateful beach in the first place? Who better to ask than the turtle himself? Well, the narrator does just that, meeting up with key supporting characters from three of Japan’s best-loved fairytales to discover their stories.
