Grimms’ Fairy Tales: As Told By Supporting Characters

While sitting at a café in Vienna, Austria, the narrator is approach by a man dressed like a colourful clown. He is, he explains, one of the robbers from The Town Musicians of Bremen, and he’d like nothing more than to tell his side of the story. Next to appear is the Commander of the Queen’s Escort from Snow White, followed by the wife of the shoemaker in The Elves and the Shoemaker. Each supporting characters shines a fascinating light on what really happened in the stories immortalised by the Brothers Grimm.
