Dolphin Express courier Tails returns for yet more ocean escapades in this fourth instalment of the series. On Akebi Island, Tails ends up causing damage to an important ship due to a problem with a parcel for the perfumier Rin Kazami. As a result, Tail is temporarily taken off deliveries and is instead charged with looking after a work experience boy.
