Peter and the Wolf, Sergey Prokofiev’s much-loved musical fairy tale for children, was performed accompanied by a spoken narrative and projected illustrations at the 2019 Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival held in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefectural. The performances received great acclaim as an “audible picture book” and now those words and illustrations have now been compiled into this book. Bold and bright pictures vividly capture the temperament and movement of each character.
