The latest addition to the We Are Friends series, which started with The Fox’s Friend-shop. The series has dealt with myriad aspects of Fox and Wolf’s sometimes tricky friendship, from jealousy to misunderstandings to including new friends. This prequel to the first book explains what brought Fox and Wolf together, and how goodbyes can sometimes lead to new beginnings. The strength of their affection is clearly conveyed through warm illustrations and perceptive prose.
