Hiroshi Abe

Born in 1948. Former zookeeper at Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa. Some of his major works include “The Story of the Ezo Wolf”, “Zoo Guide”, “Animal Friendship Dictionary”, “Gorillas are Gorillas”, and the “Animal Trial” series. In 1995, he won the Kodansha Publishing Culture Award for his work “One Stormy Night”.
