This beautifully illustrated book tells the story of a boy and his grandfather, travelling through an autumnal landscape: trees of crimson and gold, laden with pine cones and walnuts. They moor their boat for the night, set a fire, and the grandfather begins to tell stories about the animals of the forest – majestic tigers and battling wild boars. Together they watch the countless stars, before waking up to a dawn shrouded in mist before the sun turns everything golden.
