‘Research for All’ is a new non-fiction series looking at issues of interest in our modern society. This instalment features the wonderful world of slugs and is authored by Hiroko Udaka, a specialist in invertebrates. Back to slugs: they’re a bit slimy and not very well liked, but that doesn’t mean they’re not utterly fascinating! Hiroko explains how she came to take an interest in slugs, about her Slug Finding Project which is a crowd science project, and of course plenty about the (un)lovable little creature themselves!
