This series brings together content that was previously serialised in popular educational magazine Chagurin between 2005 and 2014. This edition, one of five to be released in 2020 (with a further five scheduled for publication in 2021), focuses on people, from Japan and worldwide, whose literary masterpieces are read and renowned today, including Murashiki Shikibu, Hans Christian Anderson, Natsume Soseki, and Miyazawa Kenji. Each manga story is followed by additional background information to provide greater context and enhance understanding.
