Afghanistan: Children of a Mountain School

Photojournalist Hiromi Nagakura visits a small school in a mountain valley in Afghanistan just after its post war reopening. Although the school is draughty and the children must share textbooks, their faces shine with eagerness in the classroom, and they smile in the playground.
