Yuji Okushi

Born in 1976 in Ibaraki Prefecture. He is a picture book author, painter, and illustrator. He graduated from the Department of Painting, Tama Art University, specialising in oil painting. His picture book works include “Pete the Shopping Street”, “The Mountain God’s Giant Lunchbox”, “The Midnight Monster IbiKiras”, “After Sleeping, the Amusement Park”, ” It’s Only Me Who Knows: The Strange Mechanism” and “Human Horse”(written by Soji Itao). His favourite proverb is “When the wind blows, the barrel maker profits.”
