Noriko Kudoh

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture, 1970. Graduated from Joshibi Junior College of Art and Design. Currently works as the author of picture books and a manga artist. In 1999, she published her first picture book, ‘Koban The Shark’s Sea Tour’, and since then has continued to work on several delightful series of picture books that share a bold use of animal motifs and distinct design. Many of her charming characters have proved so popular that they have been made into children’s toys. She is also well known as a manga artist, and her cartoons are serialised in monthly manga magazines.
