Masumi Uchino

Born in Kanagawa. Created and oversaw “Pythagora Switch”, an educational television programme first broadcast on NHK in 2002, where she was responsible for the design of the penguins and the mouse and all the other creatures that appeared on the show. Her songs for children’s programmes – for which she writes both the lyrics and the compositions – are also the beloved theme tunes of countless childhoods.
