Kaya Doi

Born in 1969 in Tokyo, Doi graduated with a design degree from the reputable Tokyo Zokei University. Doing both the writing and illustrating for many of her stories, Doi is loved by a large fan base for her characteristic warm touch with coloured pencils and the tenderness with which she depicts her characters. She now lives in Chiba on the outskirts of Tokyo, where she lives a slow life with her family and cats surrounded by nature.
