Junko Hayakawa

Born in Tokyo in 1970, Hayakawa graduated from Tama Art University. She makes prints for picture books a nd illustrations. Her past picture books include “You Don’t Have To Believe It” (Billiken Shuppan), “Insomnia” (Parol-sha), “Mr. Midnight” (Goblin Shobo), “Summer Holiday in Monster Island” (Poplar-sha), “The Book of Cheese” and “The Book of Adzuki Beans” (Nobunkyo), “The Can House” (Holp Shuppan) and “The Fast-Speaking Piglets” (Zuiunsha). Her illustration work includes “The Obsessed Man” (Billiken Shuppan) and “Welcome to the Sunset Country” (Froebel-kan). She currently lives in Tokyo.
