“I’ve decided to pay for your school fees”, said Grandma Tsuruko. “There’s just one condition… You have to aim to get into a school that’s a cut above the grades you’re getting now”. Wakaba knows her grandmother is passionate about education because she was denied it due to her sex. But there’s so much pressure, what with ordinary school work, high school entrance exams and being on the volleyball team. It’s tough but, with the support of her parents, will Wakaba be able to meet Tsuruko’s condition?
