Doctor Robert is an emergency doctor for children who have fall sick during the night. Oh, and he just happens to be a talking, motor-cycle riding cat. One night, he arrives at Yuki’s house to take care of her little brother in his hour of need. Kaeko Kiji is not a prolific author, but when she does put pen to paper, the resulting stories are charming, captivating, and certainly unique. Illustrator Daisuke Igarashi is known internationally for his manga: Children of the Sea is available in English while Little Forest has been made into a live-action film in Korea.
