Little Apple and her Fabulous Beetle Cards

After Little Apple helps four (somewhat familiar) Beetles speaking a mysterious language (“Won’t you please, please help me?”), they give her some magical Beetle Cards. Little Apple uses the cards to get out of scrapes with the Eagles and avoid being squished by a Rolling Stone. A delightfully nonsensical book with lots for grown-ups to smile at too.
