Kendo-enthusiast Narumi is so tall it’s hard for her to make body strikes, but she’s working hard on it. One day, she comes across a former friend, Leona, who she had trouble with in the past. Leona is now training in kendo too and the girls strike up an uneasy pact when Leona joins Narumi’s team as a last-minute replacement. Tense scenes of combat provide a dramatic backdrop to Narumi’s ongoing story of emotional growth.
