Dalana’s Fire
by nakaban
“Dalana, Dalana, gather us up, won’t you?” “Make a fire to warm yourself”. As she walks along a beach, Dalana hears whispered voices, guiding her so she can make a bonfire and rest and enjoy its warmth. She builds a fire but has no way to light it. Just then, the very last ray of the setting sun leaps onto pile of branches, sparking a tiny flame. Bold and vivid illustrations bring this tale of a magical moment to life.
